We’ll meet at 4 p.m. at our hotel in Luzern (Lucerne) for a “Welcome to Switzerland” meeting. Then we’ll take a meandering evening walk through Switzerland’s most charming lakeside town, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together. Sleep in Luzern (2 nights). No bus. Walking: light.
We start early toward Dihamri Marine Reserve, one of the richest marine ecosystems in the Indian Ocean. The first dive takes you among vibrant coral reefs, followed by a boat dive reaching depths of 50 meters where tropical fish swarm. Overnight beachside stay in a relaxing atmosphere.
We head east to the crystal-clear waters of Adho. The first dive brings you among schools of fish and sea turtles, and the second through sea caves inhabited by octopuses, shrimp, and moray eels. Stay overnight in a luxury seaside camp with a fresh seafood dinner.
An exciting morning at Rosh Marine Reserve, where you dive among massive coral structures. The first dive brings you close to blacktip reef sharks and rare tuna, and the optional second dive reveals giant groupers and spotted guitarfish. Camp on the beach under Socotra’s stars.
A rare experience… dive into the wreck of a sunken ship turned marine haven. The first dive guides you through the ship’s remains, while the second explores the deep reefs surrounding it. End the day with a beach barbecue.
Boat trip to Shouab Beach, where spinner dolphins swim beside us. The first dive is near colorful reefs, and the second at Socotra’s largest wreck, home to hammerhead sharks, stingrays, and barracudas. Camp at Detwah Lagoon with a gourmet seaside dinner.
After six days of diving, it’s time to slow down and explore. This day offers freedom of choice:
A mindful walk around Detwah Lagoon
Visit to Diksam Plateau & Dragon’s Blood Tree forest
Swim in Kalysan Canyon’s white rock pools
You set the pace—we take care of the rest. Overnight in a peaceful natural setting under the stars.
Final breakfast before heading to the airport, with a last photo stop at the old Soviet tanks. Farewell from the team and receive your diving certificate and a farewell gift pack—Socotri honey, local incense, and printed underwater photos.
