Here, sustainability isn’t a concept—it’s a daily practice, a tangible kind of love

Some moments in this journey won’t need explanation:
The silence inside Hoq Cave, the sky mirrored in Detwah, the breeze of Arher, or a modest dinner under the moonlight.

And four memories will stay carved in you:

  • A quiet meditation in Hoq Cave
  • Free diving in Dihamri’s coral reefs
  • A stream flowing next to your tent in Kaleshan
  • A boat ride to Shoab with dolphins beside you

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arher | Beginning Where the Wind Meets the Sand

You land in Socotra and head straight to Arher Beach, where white dunes meet the mountains and the sea in a breathtaking embrace. We set up camp in this magical place, take off our shoes, and walk barefoot on warm sand. Before sunset, we gather around a soft light to share intentions and learn the basics of our sustainable journey. The sky here is wide open… and the night simpler than anything you’ve known.

Day 2 – Hoq Cave & Rokh Reserve | Deep Within Stone and Green

We rise early to the sound of waves and breeze, then hike to Hoq Cave, one of the island’s largest and most mysterious underground worlds. Each silent step takes us deeper into the earth, where rock formations tell stories of millennia. We stand in the heart of the cave, switch off our lights, and listen… to silence. After lunch, we head to Rokh Mountain Reserve, walking among plants that grow nowhere else. A local guide teaches us how people have lived in balance with this unique environment. We camp tonight in a quiet highland site, with rocks keeping watch over us.

Day 3 – Dihamri + Homhil | The Balance of Sea and Mountain

Your morning begins at Dihamri beach, one of Socotra’s top snorkeling spots. We dive into a colorful underwater world of coral reefs and fish. After lunch, we move to Homhil in the mountains, walking gently through aromatic shrubs. A local elder shares stories of Socotri herbal medicine. We end the day with a sunset meditation on the edge of a cliff.

Day 4 – Kaleshan Wadi + Zahek | Where Water Whispers and Sand Embraces

We start the day hiking through Kaleshan Wadi, where a stream flows between stones and palms. A hidden natural pool awaits for a refreshing swim. After lunch, we head to the open coast of Zahek. Free time to rest or join an optional sunset yoga session. Tonight’s camp is on soft sand under a sky full of stars.

Day 5 – Digub Cave + Fermhin | From Depths to Shadows of Trees

In the morning, we explore Digub Cave, one of the island’s deepest limestone caverns. The formations inside are like silent sculptures of time. Then we ascend to Dixam Plateau to visit the famous Dragon Blood Tree forest in Fermhin. At sunset, we sit beneath an ancient tree, write something personal, and fall into shared silence.

Day 6 – Qalansiyah + Detwah Lagoon | Reflections in a Sky Mirror

We head west to Qalansiyah town and stop briefly at the local market. Then we continue to Detwah Lagoon, a breathtaking mirror-like body of water that reflects clouds and sky. An optional beach cleanup activity is offered, followed by a simple dinner by moonlight.

Day 7 – Shoab + Return to Hadibo | When the Sea Tells Stories

In the morning, we sail to Shoab Beach, watching dolphins follow our boat. We arrive at a shore only reachable by sea. There, we visit the “Cave Man” site and hear oral history from a Socotri elder. As the sun sets, we return to Hadibo and sleep in a local guesthouse.

Day 8 – Farewell to the Earth

We gather for a light breakfast, share reflections, and write the final note in our journey journal. Then it’s time for the airport transfer… carrying a place in your heart you’ll never forget
